Great little dive bar, free hotdog with other purchase, order your hotdog when you order drinks. limited seating, may have to stand. 17 beers on tap when I visited. CASH ONLY establishment! Fairly dark environment, moderate noise.
Limited food options but this is an absolute must hit dive bar! Prices are fantastic, vibes are immaculate. Cash only so make sure to bring a couple dollhairs. Will definitely be back
First went in this bar in 1998 on my 1st visit to NY. This time I'm here with my 21 year old son and took him in, and he loved it. Plenty of people from all over the area and plenty from places from around the world. Ended up chatting with one guy, Ian who was in NY for the day from Florida. Anyway, everything here is great from the prices, the staff and above all the atmosphere. And yes the free hot dogs are also great.
No frills, no fancy — just pure, classic New York energy. It’s giving old-school, dive bar, iconic local spot… and I loved it 😌✨ The drinks are super affordable (which in NYC is a win 👏🏼), and the free hot dogs? Legendary. Simple but hits the spot every time 🌭🍺
Wonderful place to drink. There is an hot dog attached to each beer, so you can keep yourself sober (or not). This place is money only, have your cash in advance. Deep inside there is jack's backyard, a place to watch games, and a jukebox for clients.

An excellent bar with a great selection of craft beers on tap at affordable prices. With every beer, you get a free hot dog on the side! The staff are very friendly, and if you can't decide which beer to pick, they'll let you have a taste first. The back area is more chilled with more tables, making it easier to talk, while it’s a bit louder and more crowded by the bar. Definitely recommend a visit!
We had an amazing time! Rudy’s is a true OG institution in New York and kept pulling us back into the heart of Hell’s Kitchen like a magnet throughout our trip. Ask and you’ll get a free hot dog with every drink—and honestly, they’re really good! Pints start at just $4; the Rudy’s IPA is a must-try. Absolutely awesome! This is a great spot to enjoy a shot and a beer for a really good price for Midtown. It is a dive bar, the good kind with character and age but not dirty, but weathered, its been there awhile. I love that with each drink you are able to enjoy a hot dog 🌭 on the house. Food, Fun, and Fair prices. You can't beat it. In an age where everything is changing and getting expensive Rudy's stays the same. You gotta love it!
A true New York institution. My husband and I were staying in Hell’s Kitchen, and by our second visit we were already chatting with the team behind the bar. The atmosphere is welcoming, the beer is great, and they even have hard seltzers for those looking for a lighter option. Of course, the real star is the hot dog—simple, classic, and unbeatable. One thing to note: Rudy’s is cash only. However, for all my fellow Gen Z Apple Pay users 😉, there’s an ATM conveniently located inside.
